Revenue Modelling and Competition Analysis, UK

Ixom Consulting was commissioned by a UK-based rail operator to lead the revenue modelling workstream for one of the largest rail franchises bids in 2015-16. The work included multi-modal completion for an airport-rail express leading to London and a cluster of rail services in the East Anglia region of UK.

Investor-focused risk assessment for electric smart meters in India

Ixom Consulting personnel, in a previous role, worked with a Singapore-based investor to assess the smart meter and service providers in India. The client wished to assess target firms with a view to forming a commercial partnership to bid and execute contracts in India.

Mobilisation and operational support for buses in India

Ixom Consulting was commissioned by FirstGroup Plc, UK to support market entry and lead the mobilisation of their pilot project in India. High-end, wifi-enabled, airport-style buses were introduced as shuttle buses to cater to the tech sector in Hinjewadi, Pune. The role, spread across three years, included setting up operations, procurement support, technology selection of GPS-driven on-board units, safety training for blue collar workers and contract management.

Ixom Consulting worked for a JV of the state government of Andhra Pradesh India to devise an e-mobility strategy focusing on e-buses, e-bikes and e-commercial vans in Visakhapatnam. The assignment included demand assessment, depot readiness, route and scheduling studies as well as development of KPIs to facilitate OEM trials.
